Abstract
Passing on the torch for a hundred years, steadfastly moving towards a new chapter. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences, Acta Physiologica Sinica has specially planned to launch a special issue titled "Blood Physiology and Pathology". This special issue is organized and prepared by the Blood Physiology Committeeof the Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences as a sincere tribute to the centenary of the society. We have invited top experts and scholars in the field of hematology in China to write articles, summarizing and presenting the latest cutting-edge progress and fruitful academic achievements in physiological mechanism analysis, pathological mechanism exploration, basic research breakthroughs, and clinical translation applications in China's hematology field through 13 high-quality reviews, 3 original research papers, and 1 experimental method.
