Abstract

The Nobel Prize is based on the late Swedish chemist Alfred Nobel in 1895 and the will of five awards, including physics, chemistry, peace, physiology or medicine and literature award, designed to recognize the world in physics, chemistry, peace, physiology, or medicine, literature. In 1968, the Swedish Central Bank established the Nobel Prize in Economics, including the field of economics in the Nobel Prize selection scope. It has been more than a hundred years since the first Nobel Prize was awarded in 1901. The Nobel Prize winners have been praised for their contributions, and their research topics have been repeatedly studied by researchers. The author analyzes winners of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine from 2001 to 2021, and finds that the Nobel Prize points to innovative directions in basic research, technical methods, disease mechanism and drug research. Combing the research content of the Nobel Prize winners in physiology or Medicine winners over the years can reveal the context of the value orientation of medicine and physiology research that the scientific community is concerned about.
