Abstract

The nervous system is one of the most important systems in the human body, whose structural damage or dysfunction can cause a variety of mental and neurological disorders. Neuroimaging and neuromodulation techniques aid each other and play an important role in understanding the neuropathological mechanisms of mental and neurological diseases and in specifically regulating neurological activities in order to treat the corresponding diseases. Special Topic on Neuroimaging and Translational Neuroscience focuses on strengthening the transformation and application of neuroimaging and neuroregulation technology, not only introduces the dispersion tensor imaging, spinal cord imaging and other cutting-edge neuroimaging methods, but also pays attention to neuroimaging in schizophrenia, migraine, knee osteoarthritis, irritable bowel syndrome and other diseases, as well as summarizes the role of non-invasive neuroelectric stimulation on alleviating pain.
