Volume-activated chloride current in pigmented ciliary epithelial cells

Abstract

To characterize the volume-activated Cl~(-) current in bovine pigmented ciliary epithelial (PCE) cells, the whole-cell patch clamp technique was employed. Exposure to a hypotonic solution induced a volume-activated Cl~(-) current.
