Biological activity of recombinant human hepatopoietin

Abstract

rhHPO is an important stimulating factor of regeneration, which may be developed as a potential drug for the treatment of severe hepatic diseases. The authors found an inhibitory effect of rhHPO on the DNA synthesis of lung cancer cell lines GLC-82 in vitro, which might provide a valuable indicator for the study of its specificity and mechanisms.
