Abstract
The components of the reactive oxygen species of the oxidative burst might depend on the medium. A large amount of ·OH may appear during oxidate burst if mineral ions are absent in the medium. The oxidative burst may be the product of interactions between the plant and an incompatible pathogen and leads to transient oxidative stress inside the cell which can trigger the expression of some genes such as anionic peroxidase genes, in which Ca~(2+) and inositol phosphate may be involved.
