Abstract

Two cDNA clones of chitin-binding-protein from rice seed endosperm(ES-CBP): CRRY1 and CRRY2 were screened and isolated with the ES-CBP specific antibody from seed cDNA library(constructed in #lambda#gt-22A). The antiserum(selected after gene expression)can react with the purified ES-CBP. Furthermore, DNA of the positive positive clones were extracted and digested by EcoR I -Not I. Agarose-electrophoresis indicates that the size of the inserted fragments are 1.6kb and 1.0kb respectively.
